Three jobs · one skill underneath

Experts. Companies. Places.

Steve designs learning experiences and then gets up and delivers them. He helps experts commercialise what they know, companies solve problems with learning, and places and businesses build something people actually remember. Nearly two decades, an agency, five books and a TEDx.

In practice

In practice, that looks like this:

Start here

What do you actually need?

Three doors. Pick the one that sounds like you and skip the rest.

01

I've got a stage or a room to fill

A keynote that leaves people with one thing to actually do, a host who holds the whole day together, or a workshop that actually shifts something.

02

I'm building something and I'm stuck

Fifty minutes, you and Steve, on whatever's jammed. Part coach, part problem-solver, no homework and no twelve-week programme. Bigger than fifty minutes? That's Learn Awesome's world.

03

I just want to learn good stuff

No gate, no funnel, no email wall. Steve puts what he works out on the internet for anyone standing where he used to stand.

The method

Rock. Do. Suck. fits on a 2x2.

Two questions sort your entire to-do list. Does it matter? And are you any good at it? Where you land tells you what to protect, what to scrape by on, and what to let go with a grin.

For years Steve only had two settings. Things he rocked and things he sucked at, and exactly one move: grind the sucks into rocks. It nearly cooked him. Then he found the third option that had been sitting in the middle the whole time.

Where it all comes from

Thirteen minutes and twenty seconds. Not enough. So he passes it on.

His dad died at 41, leaving one cassette tape recorded from a hospital bed. No map, no manual, nobody to ring and ask. So he said yes to things he wasn't ready for and figured them out as he went, and that habit turned into everything on this page.

This is legacy. Not a service, the reason he does any of it. What's here is the short version. The whole history is one click away.

Real advice. Real love. Then nothing else.

No door owns me.

Steve made that promise behind an ice cream counter in 2015, in the weeks after his mum died, when the shop wouldn't let him stop to grieve. Learn Awesome has had no office and no fixed anything ever since.

This is what passing it on looks like

What he gives away.

No gate, no funnel. Short clips, full builds, and the write-ups. Steve puts what he works out on the internet, for anyone standing where he used to stand.

Work with Steve

It looks like a lot of different things. It's one thing.

Speaking, hosting, facilitation, coach-sulting. All him, same gift underneath all of it: getting what matters out of people and out of rooms.

"Steve is one ofthe best I have seen."
